Not all successful tech careers begin with a degree in computer science. Some start through sheer willpower, determination, and unwavering mindset, like VedhaShri Putta, a BBA graduate from Vignan University, who pivoted her career against all odds.

Originally from Telangana, Vedha graduated with a BBA in 2023. With absolutely no coding experience and no IT background, she made a forward and bold decision to become a full-stack developer.

So, you can imagine how unconventional and difficult the journey to be a full-stack developer has been.

Breaking the Mold

From the moment she began her journey at Innomatics in January 2025, Vedha faced the usual skepticism:

“You won’t succeed in IT.”
“Even B.Tech students are struggling these days.”
“Why waste time on coding when there are easier jobs?”

Vedha was not interested in shortcuts- an easy job was not a fraction. She signed up for our Full-Stack Development program, put in the effort to get better every day, and was going to stay focused on the greater outcome: building a future on her terms.

What Set Her Apart

While technical skills matter, it was not only coding that got Vedha placed. Her communication skills, willingness to ask questions, and ability to cooperate when working on projects made her an all-around performer throughout the course.

Even in times of doubt, Vedha’s determination and constancy allowed her to keep pushing regardless of the direction. Despite debugging for hours late at night or rewriting the entire project from scratch, she never gave up.

At Innomatics, we always say: skill will get you in the room, but your attitude will keep you in the room. Vedha was the epitome of that from day one.

The Result? A Job That Speaks for Itself

Vedha is currently a Junior Full-Stack Developer with a job at Reelon Technologies in Hyderabad. She didn’t just get a job offer, she has now proven that discipline and direction can beat resume gaps or educational background.

Her story is not just inspirational, but a tangible example that the tech industry is open to anyone willing to put in the effort.

Final Thoughts

Vedha’s story is a useful reminder that it does not matter where you begin, but how far you are willing to work. With the right environment, mentorship, and mindset, career transitions like this aren’t exceptions—they’re possible.

So, if you are coming from a non-tech background and are unsure if a career in IT is right for you, take a moment to think to yourself – if Vedha can do it, what’s stopping you?
